IDBI Bank 1100 Junior Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026 - Complete Details

IDBI Bank has invited online applications for permanent recruitment to 1100 posts of Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) – Grade “O”. This is a very good opportunity for fresh graduates to start their career in a major government-owned bank, as the role offers exposure to banking operations, customer handling, and financial services at branch level. Eligible candidates can apply online from 08-03-2026 to 19-03-2026. Applicants should carefully ensure that they meet all prescribed eligibility conditions before submitting the application form.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will comprise of an Online Test, Personal Interview and Medical Test.

Online Test

The online test will be Tentatively held on 12-04-2026, and will consist of multiple sections and candidates will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test for further selection. The minimum qualifying marks (sectional and aggregate) will be decided by the Bank depending on the number of vacancies available in each zone. Candidates securing the minimum cut-off marks across each zone (overall and each section) will form the pool of shortlisted candidates for the next stage. There will also be sectional timings within the overall duration of 120 minutes.

The tests except the English Language test will be available bilingually in English and Hindi.

For each question with a wrong answer, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. No penalty will be applied for questions left unanswered.

Personal Interview

Candidates who will qualify in the online test will be called for the personal interview. During the interview, candidates will have the option to answer questions in Hindi or English. Detailed document verification will also be conducted before appearing in Interview.

The personal interview will carry 100 marks and candidates will need to secure minimum qualifying marks in the interview which will be 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The combined final score will be calculated based on marks obtained in Online Test (75 % Weightage) and Personal Interview (25 % Weightage).

Merit list will be prepared zone-wise. Candidates selected after the interview will be required to undergo a pre recruitment medical test.

• Payment will be made only through online mode as follows:
  • ₹ 250/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates (Only Intimation Charges)
  • ₹ 1050/- for all other candidates (Application Fees & Intimation Charges)

How to Apply :

Candidates need to submit their application for IDBI Bank Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) Grade ‘O’ Recruitment 2026–27 through the online mode within the prescribed dates. The application process is to be completed between 08-03-2026 and 19-03-2026.

1. Visit the Designated IDBI Bank careers portal and Click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter basic details such as name, mobile number and email ID. A provisional registration number and password will be generated.
2. Login using the generated credentials and fill in the application form with personal details, educational qualifications and category information carefully.
3. Use the “Save & Next” option to review the entered details before proceeding further. After clicking “Complete Registration”, no modification in the submitted details will be allowed.
4. Upload the required documents including scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration. During the process, candidates will also be required to capture a live photograph through webcam or mobile phone.
5. Document specifications for uploading are as follows.
   • Photograph:
     • Recent passport size colour photograph with light or white background (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm)
     • Dimensions: 200 × 230 pixels
     • File size: 20 KB – 50 KB
   • Signature:
     • Signature on white paper with black ink pen (capital letters not allowed)
     • Dimensions: 140 × 60 pixels
     • File size: 10 KB – 20 KB
   • Left Thumb Impression:
     • Impression on white paper using black or blue ink
     • Dimensions: 240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI
     • File size: 20 KB – 50 KB
   • Handwritten Declaration:
     • Text: I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.
     • Must be written in English on white paper using black ink (capital letters not allowed)
     • Dimensions: 800 × 400 pixels at 200 DPI
     • File size: 50 KB – 100 KB
6. Pay the application fee through online payment modes such as debit card, credit card, internet banking, wallet or UPI.
7. Application fee details:
   • ₹ 250 for SC/ST/PwD candidates (Intimation Charges only)
   • ₹ 1050 for all other candidates (Application Fees and Intimation Charges)
8. After successful payment, an e-receipt and a copy of the submitted application form will be generated. No correction or modification will be allowed after final submission.
9. Download and print the application form and e-receipt for future reference. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the application form or any documents to IDBI Bank at this stage. However, they should keep a printed copy of the application form and e-receipt safely for future use.
