Daman & Diu State Cooperative Bank is inviting applications for contract-based engagement of 1 Cooperative Intern for a period of one year, for Diu District. Interested candidates may apply for the concerned post, so that the application reaches the bank on or before 24-03-2026 (05:00 PM).
This role involves supporting cooperative institutions at the grassroots level, assisting in business planning, computerization, and resolving operational issues while coordinating with PACS and other stakeholders. It is a full-time internship aimed at providing practical exposure to cooperative banking functions.
This recruitment is part of NABARD Cooperative Intern Scheme under which all State Cooperative Banks (StCBs) and District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) across India are permitted to hire one Cooperative Intern each. At present, there are 34 StCBs and 351 DCCBs in operation, making a total of 385 interns under the scheme. The engagement is for a period of 1 year for each intern, while the overall scheme duration is 3 years.
Cooperative Intern will be paid consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 25000, which will be reimbursed from Cooperative Education Fund, Ministry of Cooperation through National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC).
The State Cooperative Bank will hire Cooperative Interns for DCCBs and themselves by advertising the vacancy on yearly basis. Hiring will be completed within a month of issuing of vacancy notice through screening and verification.
