BOM Recruitment 2026 - 600 Apprentices Posts

Bank of Maharashtra has invited applications for engagement of Apprentices on a contract basis under the Apprentices Act 1961, for a total of 600 posts. The last date to submit the online application is 25-01-2026, and candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility requirements before applying.

Under Apprenticeship training, selected candidates will undergo one year of practical and on-the-job training as per the Bank’s operational requirements.

Other Eligibility Conditions
  • Applicants from all Indian states and union territories are eligible to apply.
  • Candidate must be proficient in the local language of the State / UT applied for (reading, writing and speaking).
  • Proof of local language must be available in 10th or 12th standard mark sheet or certificate.
  • Candidate must not have previously completed or be currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will consist of merit-based shortlisting, document verification, medical examination, and completion of apprenticeship formalities. No written examination or interview will be conducted. A state-wise merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the 12th (HSC / 10+2) or Diploma examination.

  • Merit will be prepared in descending order of percentage marks. If two or more candidates secure the same percentage, older candidates will be ranked higher in the merit list.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents.
  • Every Apprentice on completion of the training will be granted a certificate of proficiency by the National Council

Fee Structure :

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

  • UR / EWS / OBC: Rs. 150 + GST
  • SC / ST: Rs. 100 + GST
  • PwBD: Exempted

How to Apply :

Candidates can apply online for the Bank of Maharashtra Apprentice recruitment by following the step-by-step process given below. The application must be completed online within the prescribed dates.

  1. Before applying, candidates should ensure that they meet all eligibility conditions including age, qualification and local language requirement.
  2. Candidates must keep a valid personal email ID and mobile number active till completion of the recruitment process.
  3. Applicants must have an Aadhaar Card. If Aadhaar number is not available, a 28-digit Aadhaar enrolment ID can be used.
  4. Complete the initial registration by entering basic details such as name, mobile number and email ID.
  5. After registration, a provisional registration number and password will be generated and sent via SMS and email.
  6. Log in using the registration number and password to complete the application form.
  7. Fill all personal, educational and category-related details carefully, as no correction will be allowed after final submission.
  8. Upload required scanned documents as per prescribed specifications:
    1. Photograph: passport size colour photo, 200 x 230 pixels preferred, file size between 20 KB to 50 KB.
    2. Live photograph capture through webcam or mobile phone is mandatory.
    3. Signature: 140 x 60 pixels preferred, file size between 10 KB to 20 KB, black ink on white paper.
    4. Left thumb impression: 240 x 240 pixels at 200 DPI, file size between 20 KB to 50 KB.
    5. Handwritten declaration in English only, 800 x 400 pixels at 200 DPI, file size between 50 KB to 100 KB. The declaration text must be written by the candidate in English and not in capital letters.
      1. Text of declaration is - “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.
    6. Mark sheets and certificates must be uploaded in PDF format with maximum file size of 500 KB.
  9. Proceed to pay the applicable application fee through online mode only on or before 25-01-2026.
  10. After successful payment, an e-receipt and completed application form will be generated.
  11. The application form printout is not required to be sent to Bank of Maharashtra at this stage.
  12. Candidates may keep a printed or saved copy of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
