BOB MSME Recruitment 2026 - 419 Assistant Manager, Senior Manager and Various Posts

Bank of Baroda has invited online applications for multiple positions in its MSME Banking Department under both contractual and regular (permanent) employment categories. A total of 253 contractual posts and 166 regular posts have been announced, and interested candidates must submit their applications on or before 08-03-2026,after ensuring that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the concerned positions.

The advertised roles primarily involve MSME relationship management, credit analysis, and sales of MSME loan products, where selected candidates will be responsible for business development, credit processing, and supporting MSME banking operations of the bank across its branches and offices.

Nature of Post
  • Contractual posts -
    • Engagement will be for an initial period of 5 years from the date of joining, extendable for a further period of up to 5 years based on performance and bank’s discretion.
    • Engagement will end on completion of the contract or on attaining the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.
  • Regular Posts -
    • Selected candidate will be on probation for a period of 12 months. Upon completion of probation, selected candidates shall be required to mandatorily execute a Service Bond, to serve the Bank for minimum 3 years. Amount of bond will be 5 Lakhs.

Other Eligibility Conditions
  • Post-qualification experience of less than six months will not be considered.
  • Experience in clerical cadre will not be considered for eligibility.
  • Candidates must maintain a satisfactory credit history, with minimum CIBIL score of 680 required at the time of joining. Applicants with loan / credit card defaults will be considered ineligible.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection process will comprise the following stages - Application Scrutiny, Online Test, Psychometric Test and Personal Interview.

Application Scrutiny

The selection process will begin with scrutiny of applications received from candidates. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Bank will be considered for further stages of selection. Bank will shortlist candidates for the Online Test (If Conducted) and further stages based on qualifications, relevant work experience, domain expertise, suitability and other criteria as decided by the Bank.

Online Test

If conducted, the online written test will be held at designated examination centres depending on administrative feasibility and the number of applications received. Tentative structure of the Online Test will be as follows:

Sections 1, 2 and 3 will be qualifying in nature and marks obtained in these sections will not be counted for final merit. Candidates will be required to secure a minimum qualifying percentage of 40% marks in each section for General/EWS category and 35% marks for Reserved categories. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the Online Test. Tests will be available bilingually in English and Hindi except the English Language test.

Online Test will be tentatively conducted at the following centres: Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar, Chandigarh – Mohali, Hamirpur, Lucknow, Raipur, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane / MMR, Vishakhapatnam, Bareilly, Dehradun, Jaipur, Nagpur, Baroda, Delhi / NCR, Jalandhar, Panaji, Goa, Bhopal, Ernakulam, Jammu, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Pune.

Psychometric Test

Candidates shortlisted after the Online Test will undergo a Psychometric Test conducted by the Bank. The test will assess the candidate’s personality, level of communication, clarity and problem solving abilities, level of efficiency, willingness to work in any part of the country and suitability for the post.

Personal Interview

Candidates will be called for the Personal Interview in a ratio decided by the Bank. In case an Online Test is conducted, candidates will be required to obtain minimum marks in each section and the overall test to qualify for further selection. If multiple candidates secure the same cut-off marks, they will be ranked according to their age in descending order.

The minimum qualifying marks for the Personal Interview will be 60% for General Category and 55% for Reserved Category. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Online Test (Professional Knowledge section only) and/or Personal Interview as decided by the Bank.

Fee Structure :

Application fee is to be paid online, with Fee structure as follows :

  • Rs.850 (Inclusive of GST) - General, EWS & OBC candidates
  • Rs.175 (Inclusive of GST) - SC, ST, PWD, ESM/DESM & Women candidates

How to Apply :

Candidates will have to apply online through the Bank of Baroda recruitment portal. The application process will include registration, filling the application form, uploading documents, payment of application fee and final submission. The steps will be as follows:

  1. Registration
    1. Visit the designated recruitment portal and complete the online registration by creating login credentials.
    2. Use a valid personal email ID and mobile number which should remain active till completion of the recruitment process, as all communication regarding interview or further selection stages will be sent on the registered contact details.
  2. Fill Online Application Form
    1. Log in using the registered credentials and fill the online application form with required personal, educational and other details.
    2. Ensure that details such as candidate name, category, date of birth, post applied for, address, mobile number, email ID and examination centre are filled correctly as these will be treated as final after submission.
    3. Carefully review all information before final submission because no modification or correction will be allowed after submitting the application form.
  3. Upload Documents
    1. Upload scanned photograph, signature and other required documents related to eligibility while filling the application form.
    2. Provide supporting documents such as Date of Birth proof, Graduation or Mandatory Qualification certificates, other certificates, experience letter, document showing break-up of CTC and latest salary slips if applicable.
  4. Payment of Application Fee
    1. Pay the applicbale application fee through the online payment gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking or UPI.
    2. Transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidates.
  5. Final Submission
    1. After successful payment, an e-receipt and the submitted application form will be generated.
    2. Candidates should print and keep a copy of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
    3. The printed application form will not have to be sent to Bank of Baroda at this stage.
    4. If multiple applications are submitted for the same post, the last successfully submitted application will be considered.
