Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Exam 2025. Written Examination : 03-08-2025
Mode of Recruitment :
The selection procedure for the examination will be conducted as given:
(i) Written Examination: The written examination is scheduled to take place on 03-08-2025. It will consist of two papers:
Paper I will be an objective-type (multiple-choice) examination, with questions available in both English and Hindi. It will be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Paper II will assess general studies, essay writing, and comprehension skills. Candidates can write the essay component in either English or Hindi. However, the precis writing, comprehension, and other language-related sections will be in English only. This paper will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(ii) Physical Standards Tests (PST) / Physical Efficiency Tests (PET): Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the physical tests. Only those meeting the required physical standards, will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), which include the these assessments:

(iii) Interview / Personality Test: Candidates who successfully clear the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) will be invited for the Interview / Personality Test. Candidates who do not qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will not be considered for the interview.
The Interview / Personality Test will carry a total of 150 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of the written examination and the Interview / Personality Test.
Fee Structure :
Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay of fee of Rs. 200/- either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment.
