| Project Description | This project at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry evaluates the performance of Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM) on key fruit and vegetable crops in Himachal Pradesh. PROM is an alternative to high-cost chemical phosphatic fertilizers, created by blending rock phosphate with organic matter. The research focuses on how this organic manure impacts soil health, nutrient uptake, and the overall yield of crops like apples, tomatoes, and peas in the specific agro-climatic conditions of the region. |
