WBCSC Recruitment 2025 27th State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor 1000 Posts Online Application
Applications are being accepted online by West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) for 27th State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor. Eligible candidates must complete the application process by 10-09-2025.

Mode of Recruitment :
The examination will comprise two papers, both consisting entirely of objective-type questions. The test is scheduled to be held on 14 December 2025 (Sunday) in two separate sessions as detailed :

Paper I will consist of 50 compulsory objective-type questions, each carrying 2 marks. These questions will be of a general nature, aimed at evaluating the candidate’s teaching and research aptitude, as well as their reasoning ability, comprehension skills, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
Paper II will comprise 100 compulsory objective-type questions, each carrying 2 marks, based on the subject chosen by the candidate. All questions in Paper II will be compulsory and will cover the complete syllabus of the earlier Paper II and Paper III (including all electives without any options).
Fee Structure :
The examination fee is fixed as follows: Rs 325 for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, or Transgender categories; Rs 650 for candidates from the Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of West Bengal State; and Rs 1300 for all other candidates. The fee must be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
