Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute (VPCI) has announced a walk-in interview for 2 contractual posts of Senior Resident in Pulmonary Medicine. Eligible candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications may appear for the interview on the scheduled date and time.

Candidates should attend the walk-in interview with a duly filled application form along with documents related to age, educational qualification, and experience (if applicable). The reporting date and time at the specified venue is 15-01-2026 at 09 AM.

Senior Resident in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine will be engaged in clinical duties on a temporary or adhoc basis. The initial appointment will be for six months, extendable up to a maximum of three years or until a regular appointment is made, whichever is earlier.

Selection Mode:

The selection of candidates will be based solely on their performance in the walk-in interview conducted by Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute.

Application Fee:

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director, VPCI”, payable at Delhi. Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) category are exempted from paying the application fee.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates must apply by attending the walk-in interview in person. Applications are not required to be sent in advance. Candidates should carefully prepare all required documents and reach the venue within the prescribed time.

1. Fill the application form provided in the notification in CAPITAL LETTERS.
2. Prepare a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 in favour of “Director, VPCI”, payable at Delhi (PwD candidates are exempt).
3. Carry original certificates along with self-attested photocopies of all required documents.
4. Bring proof of age (10th certificate), MBBS degree, MD/DNB degree, and medical registration certificate.
5. Carry PwBD certificate and No Objection Certificate, if applicable.
6. Attach self-attested copies of all credentials, research papers, and service details with the application form.
7. Report to the Office of the Director, VPCI, for registration at 09:30 AM on 15-01-2026.
8. Ensure that the complete application and documents are submitted before 11:00 AM, as no applications will be accepted thereafter.
