| Project Description | This project focuses on creating a new kind of thin film that uses sunlight to clean dirty water from textile factories. By using a special "photodegradation" method, the medical research into environmental health aims to break down harmful dyes in the water to make it safe for the earth again. This research is funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) - Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) Core Research Grant to ensure that our industries can protect our natural water sources. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national water systems by proving that advanced nanomaterials can remove pollution effectively, helping the whole community enjoy cleaner and safer rivers. |

Allahabad University Recruitment 2026 Assistant Registrar 1 Post Online Application
University of Allahabad has announced a recruitment drive to fill 1 permanent position of Assistant Registrar. Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit applications through online portal on or before closing date of 02-03-2026. Before applying, candidates must carefully review and confirm that all specified eligibility criteria are met.
Assistant Registrar is a Group 'A' supervisory post responsible for handling work related to Administration, Establishment, Finance, Examination or Academic sections of University. Role requires sound administrative skills and preferably working knowledge of computer applications.

Mode of Recruitment:
Selection process involves proper evaluation of applications followed by interview. If number of applicants is large, Screening Committee will shortlist suitable candidates for interview. Written test may be conducted before interview at discretion of competent authority. Shortlisted candidates will have to produce all original documents, including No Objection Certificate (if applicable), for verification at time of interview.
Fee Structure:
Application fee of Rs. 1,600/- is required to be paid by UR, EWS and OBC candidates, which includes Rs. 1,500/- as fee and Rs. 100/- as facilitation charges. SC and ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 800/-, including Rs. 700/- as fee and Rs. 100/- as facilitation charges. PwD candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- as facilitation charges only, as fee is exempted for them.
Fee once paid will not be refunded. Payment must be made online during application process.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates must complete online application through official portal on or before 02-03-2026. Scanned copies of required documents must be uploaded along with online application for verification.
- Access given online application portal.
- Fill out online application form completely with accurate personal and educational details.
- Upload scanned copies of following documents:
- Matriculation/SSC certificate (as proof of date of birth);
- Mark sheets and degree of Master's qualification;
- Experience certificates;
- Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates), which should not be more than 6 months old - OBC certificate must specifically mention "non-creamy layer" status;
- PwD certificate (if applicable).
- Pay application fee online as per category: UR/EWS/OBC: Rs. 1,600/-; SC/ST: Rs. 800/-; PwD: Rs. 100/-.
- Submit online application on or before 02-03-2026.
- Save print copy for reference. No need to send printouts at this stage.
- No Objection Certificate from current employer must be produced at time of interview, not with online application.
