SVNIT Surat Recruitment 2026 Consultant 1 Post Application Form
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat (SVNIT Surat) is looking for a qualified individual for a contractual vacancy of Consultant. This opening is specifically for managing International Affairs and involves developing an internationalisation strategy for the institute in Gujarat. The engagement is initially for one year and involves managing global partnerships and streamlining the International Relations office. Consultant – International Affairs will be engaged at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat to develop and implement the institute’s internationalisation strategy, identify and onboard global partner institutions, facilitate MoUs, establish and streamline the International Relations office with appropriate processes and systems, plan student immersion initiatives, and train staff for sustained collaboration. The engagement is for a period of one year, extendable based on performance and institutional requirements.

Selection Process:
Selection for the Consultant position will begin with scrutiny of applications to assess merit and professional credentials. Candidates shortlisted after screening will be informed about the schedule for an interview or presentation. Evaluation will be conducted in offline mode at the campus of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat. Final selection will be based primarily on performance during the interaction session.

How to Apply:
Applications may be submitted either through hard copy by post or via email on or before 06-03-2026. All required documents, along with complete identifying details, must be enclosed or attached for the application to be considered valid. The steps involved in the process are as follows:
- Download the prescribed application form from the official institutional resources.
- Fill out the form neatly with accurate personal, academic, and professional details.
- Gather self-attested photocopies of mark sheets and degree certificates for undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Include a copy of a government-issued identity card, PAN card, and Aadhaar card.
- Provide experience certificates along with the appointment letter and a brief write-up about previous roles.
- Sign every page of the application and ensure all pages are numbered correctly.
- Write the total number of pages on the first page of the application packet.
- Place the physical documents in an envelope and superscribe the post name clearly on the top.
- Dispatch the application via Speed Post or Registered Post to the Joint Registrar (Establishment) in Surat.
- Alternatively, combine the application and documents into a single PDF file and send it to picia@svnit.ac.in.
