| Project Name | Discovery and Development of Lipidomics and Proteomics-guided bioactive scaffolds for age-associated cartilage regeneration in Osteoarthritis: A Translational Preclinical study |
| Project Description | This project focuses on finding new ways to heal painful joints in older people by creating "bioactive scaffolds" that act like a healing bandage for worn-out cartilage. By studying the proteins and fats in the body to guide how these scaffolds are made, the research into medical health aims to help the body regrow its own cushioning in the knees and hips. This project is funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India, New Delhi to ensure that our nation has the best treatments for bone and joint diseases. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national aging population by turning laboratory discoveries into real-world cures, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and active future. |
