Project DescriptionThis project focuses on creating a more affordable and efficient way to store energy by developing "Sodium-Ion Batteries." By using pet-coke (a byproduct of oil refining) to create hard carbon anodes, the research into national science and sustainable energy aims to find a high-tech use for industrial waste. This project is funded by M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Noida (Industry sponsored project) to ensure that our nation moves toward self-reliance in battery technology and clean energy storage. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national industrial standards by applying chemical engineering to create long-lasting batteries, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and healthy future.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is inviting online applications for two contractual positions of Training Placement Officer at Bengaluru Campus. Selected candidates will manage industry relations, coordinate campus recruitment, and organize training programmes for students. Training & Placement Officer (TPO) will work on building industry linkages, coordinating campus recruitment drives, planning and executing training programmes, managing the complete placement process, maintaining placement data, and facilitating student internships.
