| Project Description | This IDT-ONGC sponsored project at RGIPT focuses on the advancement of petroleum engineering materials. The research investigates the potential of TiO₂/ZnO nanofluid in oil well cementing specifically for use in HPHT (High-Pressure High-Temperature) environments. Rephrasing is done to utilize metal oxide nanoparticles to enhance the structural integrity of cement sheaths. The study aims to achieve improved mechanical properties, such as increased compressive strength and reduced permeability, ensuring that oil wells can withstand extreme subsurface conditions without structural failure or gas migration. |
