| Project Description | This project focuses on the advancement of sustainable materials and environmental conservation in the Himalayan region. It aims to achieve the conversion of natural waste, such as lignocellulosic and biopolymeric materials, into high-quality bioplastics that are both strong and biodegradable. The research explores integrated catalytic methods at the Department of Chemistry, NIT Srinagar. This study is conducted to promote a circular bioeconomy by reducing waste and creating eco-friendly alternatives to traditional plastics. This research is funded by NMHS MoEF&CC, Govt. of India. |
