| Project Description | This project focuses on developing high-efficiency photoelectrodes by combining Copper Zinc Tin Sulfide (CZTS) and Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2) into a nanocomposite structure. The goal is to use solar energy to split water and generate hydrogen—a clean fuel—via the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER). By engineering this specific heterojunction, the research aims to improve light absorption and charge separation, making the process more sustainable and cost-effective. This project is funded by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. |
