Project DescriptionThis clinical-scale engineering project focuses on the design, construction, and long-term performance monitoring of Asphalt-Rubber (AR) Pavement Systems. By incorporating crumb rubber from recycled tires into bitumen, the study aims to create more durable, fatigue-resistant, and climate-resilient road surfaces. The research involves structural pavement design, the development of specific construction protocols, and the instrumentation of field sections with sensors to track real-time strain, temperature, and rutting under heavy traffic loads. It is funded by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

  • B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering with minimum CGPA of 7.0 or 65% AND
  • M.E/M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering/equivalent with minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60%
Monthly Salary
  • Rs. 37,000/- per month (1st & 2nd year)
  • Rs. 42,000/- per month (3rd year)
