Project DescriptionThis project aims to use advanced science to develop "next-generation" ceramic membranes that can clean themselves using ultraviolet light. The research team is working hard to test how these membranes can pull clean water out of the waste produced by thermal power plants. This research is funded by NLC India Limited to support the development of next-generation tools for the energy sector. Through this medical research into material behavior, the team hopes to provide a better treatment for industrial waste by building a system that stays efficient for a long time, reducing the need for expensive repairs or chemical cleaning.
