| Project Description | This ANRF-IRG sponsored project at NIT Patna focuses on the development of specialized organometallic Manganese (Mn₆) clusters. These clusters are designed to serve as dual-functional agents, meaning they can target two different health challenges at once. The research explores how these metal complexes can inhibit specific SARS-CoV-2 viral proteins to stop viral replication, while also acting as potent agents against cancer cells. By studying the interaction between the Mn₆ core and biological targets, the project aims to create a versatile platform for next-generation drug design. |
