| Project Description | This project focuses on using advanced nanotechnology to make jute, a natural plant fiber, much stronger and more durable for building roads. By treating jute-geotextiles with tiny particles, the medical research into industrial health aims to create a long-lasting material that helps roads stay smooth and safe for a long time. This project is funded by the National Jute Board (NJB), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India to ensure that our national resources are used in a smart and eco-friendly way. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national highways by testing how these natural sheets perform in real-world road sections, helping the whole community benefit from cheaper and more sustainable infrastructure. |
