| Project Description | This project focuses on using smart genetic tools to help chickpea and mustard crops grow better in difficult weather. By making tiny, precise changes to the plant's DNA, the medical research into environmental health aims to create seeds that can survive without much water or in very hot sun. This project is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to ensure that farmers have reliable crops even as the climate changes. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national food supply by developing stronger plants that do not fail during a drought, helping the whole community have a more stable and secure future. |
