M.Tech / M.E (Ocean/Coastal Engg) OR M.Sc (Physical Oceanography) + 2 years experience OR B.Tech (Civil) + 2 years experience

NIO Recruitment 2026 Walkin for Apprentice Trainees (Regional Centre Kochi) 14 Posts
National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) will conduct a Walkin Interview on 22-01-2026 at 09:00 AM for 14 contractual posts of Apprentice Trainees at the Regional Centre Kochi. Eligible candidates may attend with the completed application form and supporting documents.
Technician and Graduate Apprentices will undergo one-year training in Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Engineering, Oceanography, and General Administration trades, as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

- Register on NATS Portal as a Student Apprentice and note the Unique Student Enrolment ID.
- Download and fill the application form from NIO website or the notification.
- Mention your Enrolment ID and trade applied for on the form.
- Bring original documents and one set of self-attested copies: educational certificates, proof of age, Aadhaar Card, category certificate (if applicable), passport size photo, and other relevant testimonials.
- Report at CSIR-NIO, Regional Centre, Kochi by 09:00 AM on 22-01-2026. No entry after 10:00 AM.
- Submit the application and documents at the time of the interview. Originals will be verified.
