Project DescriptionThis project focuses on using a forgotten crop called linseed to make healthy and affordable food for families. By turning these seeds into protein-rich snacks and better cooking oil, the medical research into nutrition aims to help everyone get the strength they need from their daily meals. This research is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India to ensure that even low-cost foods are packed with vitamins and minerals. The goal is to provide a better treatment for hunger and poor health by teaching local groups how to make and sell these nutritious products in their own neighborhoods.

NIFTEM Recruitment 2026 Assistant Librarian 1 Post Online Application

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is looking for someone to join the team as an Assistant Librarian on a contract basis. The main work involves looking after the library and helping with modern digital updates.

Assistant Librarian will manage library operations and handle library computerization tasks. The position is on contract for one year, extendable based on institute requirements.

Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria:

Post Vacancy Age Qualification Salary
Assistant Librarian 1 Maximum 40 years as of 10-02-2026 Graduation in Science or Engineering stream with a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks and minimum 4 years experience Rs. 56,100/- (All Inclusive). For exceptional ability, a higher salary up to Rs. 60,000/- may be considered.

Selection Mode:
