| Project Description | This study examines how rising global temperatures are affecting the glaciers in the Arunachal Himalaya region. It utilizes advanced satellite imaging and mathematical models to track changes in ice thickness and area. By combining field data with isotope analysis, researchers can understand exactly how much water these glaciers are losing and how it impacts regional water security. This research is sponsored by ANRF (ARG). |
