Project Name	Estimation of prey population, abundance and dynamics in MP
Project Description	This project focuses on the advancement of wildlife conservation and ecological monitoring. It aims to achieve an accurate estimation of prey population, abundance, and their changing patterns across Madhya Pradesh. The research explores integrated methods for tracking animal movements and habitat use at the State Forest Research Institute (SFRI), Jabalpur. This project is funded by the State Forest Department.

Qualification	JRF-I (Biologist) (01 Post) : Post graduate degree in Basic Science (Zoology, Botany) OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Professional course (Forestry/Wildlife Science/Environmental Science/Biodiversity/Life Science or equivalent) selected through UGC-NET including lectureship and GATE OR National level examination conducted by MHRD and its agencies (UGC, IIT/IISC/IISER etc.). Desirable: Willingness to undertake extensive field work and commit to long periods of field-based data collection. JRF-I (GIS Analyst) (01 Post) : Post graduate degree in Basic Science (Zoology, Botany, Geology, Geography) OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Professional course (GIS/Remote Sensing/Environmental Science/Geo Informatics or equivalent) selected through UGC-NET including lectureship and GATE OR National level examination conducted by MHRD and its agencies (UGC, IIT/IISC/IISER etc.).
Monthly Salary	(i) Rs. 31,000 + 10% HRA (for NET/GATE/National level exam qualified) OR (ii) Rs. 25,000 + 10% HRA (for others)
