| Project Description | This project focuses on finding the best types of thornless cactus plants to use as healthy food for cows and other farm animals. By looking at how the plants grow and what nutrients they hold, the medical research into animal health aims to identify the strongest varieties that can help cattle stay strong even in dry areas. This project is funded by the Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission (RGSTC) under the university-level scheme to ensure that farmers have access to the best natural fodder for their livestock. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national agriculture by selecting plants that are easy for animals to eat and full of energy, helping the whole community maintain more stable and productive farms. |
