Project Name	Development of an Orthotic Auxetic Insole for Preventing the Recurrence of Ulcers in Leprosy Patients – A Feasible Treatment
Project Description	This project focuses on the advancement of biomedical engineering and rehabilitative care. It aims to achieve the creation of a specialized orthotic insole using auxetic materials to help prevent the recurrence of foot ulcers in individuals affected by leprosy.This study is conducted to provide a practical and effective treatment solution for long-term patient care. This research is funded by ANRF (ARG).
Duration	One year (extendable on performance basis up to 3 years)

Qualification	Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Mechanical, Computational Mechanics, Design, Aerospace, Biomedical, Civil or other relevant specializations) selected through CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE OR National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.). Desirable: proficiency or work experience in CAD or FEA tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS, ABAQUS); good analytical ability and proficiency in report writing.
Monthly Salary	Rs. 37,000 + HRA @20% per month for first two years; Rs. 42,000 + HRA @20% per month for third year
Age Limit	maximum 28 years as on 24-04-2026
Selection Process	Candidates will first be shortlisted on the basis of their academic qualifications, and interviews will then be conducted for those selected.
