By utilizing advanced sensors and diagnostic algorithms, the scanner aims to detect early signs of implant failure, infection (biofilm formation), or abnormal mechanical stress, significantly reducing the risk of revision surgeries. |

The research focuses on developing mitigation strategies—such as atomic-level doping, hydrogen dilution, or the use of nanocrystalline silicon buffers—to stabilize the material's atomic network and prevent the light-induced creation of "dangling bond" defects. |
