Manipur University 36 Non-Teaching Posts Recruitment 2026 - Complete Details

Manipur University invites online applications from eligible candidates for appointment to 36 Group B and Group C non-teaching positions on a permanent basis. The roles range from administrative and technical support to specialized service staff, contributing to the efficient functioning of the university's academic and operational departments. The last date for online application is 08-03-2026, and the hard copy must be submitted by 23-03-2026.

Notably, this advertisement supersedes the earlier advertisement No. 03/2020 (Dated 27-11-2020). Candidates who had applied earlier for the said notice need not apply again. However, they may update their biodata if willing.

Important Points
  • Question paper will be in English only.
  • Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I to have their Paper-II evaluated. Qualifying marks are: 45% for UR, 40% for OBC, and 35% for SC/ST/PwD.
  • Wherever applicable, the Skill Test is of qualifying nature (minimum 25 marks required out of 50) and no additional credits will be added to the final merit.
  • The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of Paper-I and Paper-II.
  • In case of a tie, preference is given to the candidate with higher aggregate marks in the essential qualification degree, followed by seniority in age.

Fee Structure :

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

  • Rs. 500/- for UR & OBC candidates
  • Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates

How to Apply :

Candidates need to apply through the university’s online application portal and then send the printed form to Manipur University. The process is as follows.

  1. Register and fill online application
    1. Visit the official online application portal and complete the registration process.
    2. After registration, login using the generated credentials.
    3. Fill the online application form for the concerned post on or before 08-03-2026 and submit it after entering all required details.
    4. Pay the application fee online during the application process.
  2. Print application form and send hard copy
    1. After successful submission, download and print the completed application form.
    2. Attach required supporting documents along with the printed application form and proof of fee payment.
    3. Send the hard copy of the application form with documents to The Registrar, Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal – 795003.
    4. The hard copy must reach the university on or before 23-03-2026.
    5. The name of the post applied for must be clearly mentioned on the envelope.
  3. Candidates who had applied earlier under Advertisement No. 03/2020 dated 30-11-2020 do not need to apply again, but they may update their bio-data if they wish.
  4. Keep a personal copy of the application form and documents for future reference.
