| Project Description | This project aims to use advanced science to develop "next-generation" policy ideas by analyzing the socio-legal dimensions of the Public Distribution System. The research team is working hard to conduct a comprehensive study across Maharashtra to build a scientific record of how food security policies are implemented on the ground. This research is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) to support the development of next-generation tools for the nation's social welfare program. Through this medical research into social behavior, the team hopes to provide a better treatment for information gaps by identifying the specific hurdles that prevent food from reaching those who need it most. |
