| Project Description | This ICMR-NHRP project at KGMU Lucknow is a comprehensive multi-site study aimed at improving the dental hygiene of children across India. The research focuses on the real-world implementation of supervised tooth brushing programmes and oral health education within the primary school setting. By integrating these habits into the daily school routine, the project seeks to reduce the prevalence of dental caries and promote long-term oral health. The study evaluates the feasibility and effectiveness of this model across diverse geographic locations to create a sustainable national framework for school-based dental care. |
