Project DescriptionThis project focuses on the advancement of public health and clinical biochemistry for migratory communities. It aims to achieve a comprehensive evaluation of how Hepatitis B and C, along with malnutrition and anemia, increase the risk of Liver cirrhosis in the Gujjar-Bakerwal population. The research explores integrated health challenges faced by these transhuman groups. This research is funded by JKST&IC.

Qualification
  • M.Sc in Clinical Biochemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA grade OR B.Sc (Med Lab Tech) with at least 2-3 years experience of working in Field/Clinical labs.
  • Desirable: Working experience in Clinical lab diagnosis, Hematology, ELISA, PCR etc.; profound theoretical and practical knowledge of medical lab technology; field experience in conducting clinical studies.
Monthly SalaryAs per respective agency guidelines
Selection ProcessInterviews will be conducted for candidates shortlisted on the basis of academic qualifications.

  • Desirable: Working experience in Cell culture and cloning techniques; profound knowledge of medical lab technology; field experience in conducting clinical studies; candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC-NET Exam/GATE or other equivalent exams (preferable).
