Kashmir University Recruitment 2026 Assistant Librarian 9 Posts Online Application
University of Kashmir is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to 9 permanent posts of Assistant Librarian. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility requirements before submitting the application. The last date for online submission is 14-02-2026.
Assistant Librarian role will involve managing library and information services supporting academic teaching research and learning activities at the University of Kashmir Main Campus The appointment is a regular permanent position under the university establishment.

Mode of Recruitment :
The University of Kashmir will scrutinize all received applications for the post of Assistant Librarian. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on their applications. Interviews will be conducted only for those candidates who are shortlisted after screening.
Fee Structure :
Application fee Rs 1200/- is to be paid through online mode.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD) are exempted from paying the fee.
How to Apply :
Application is to be submitted in two stages. Candidates must complete the online application process first and then submit a printed hard copy to the University of Kashmir. Follow the steps given below carefully.
- Visit the official recruitment portal and complete online registration using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Log in and fill in all personal, educational, and other required details accurately.
- Preview the filled application and submit it online. Editing will not be allowed after final submission.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 1200/- through online mode. PwD candidates are exempted from fee payment.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form and note the generated form number.
- Attach self-attested copies of all required documents such as certificates, mark sheets, category certificate if applicable, experience documents if any, and payment proof.
- Arrange the documents in the same order as mentioned in the online form and send the complete hard copy by Speed Post or Registered Post or submit it personally so as to reach the university on or before 20-02-2026.
Printed application must be sent to the University of Kashmir. One additional copy of the application may be kept by the candidate for future reference.
