Project DescriptionThis project focuses on looking deep into the sky to study how clouds form and how the air near the ground moves across the Indian region. By using powerful LIDAR lasers and eye-in-the-sky satellites, the research into community health and environment aims to help scientists predict rain and storms more accurately. This project is funded by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Government of India to ensure that our nation has the best data to prepare for changing weather patterns. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national weather standards by providing a clearer picture of the sky, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and healthy future.
DurationMaximum of 24 months (purely temporary, renewable based on satisfactory performance, and co-terminus with the project)

QualificationPost Graduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Meteorology / Atmospheric Science / Physics / Environmental Science from a recognized university or equivalent.
Monthly SalaryRs. 31,000/- per month + HRA
Age LimitMaximum 35 years as on 10-02-2026
