JMI Recruitment 2026 Assistant Professor (Faculty of Engineering Technology) 3 Posts Application Form
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is inviting applications for 3 contractual posts of Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering Technology. These positions are for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Electrical and Computer Engineering for the 2025-26 academic session. Individuals with a Master's degree in the relevant field should submit the applications by 12-02-2026. Interested candidates should ensure that the process is completed by the specified date.
Assistant Professor and Guest Faculty will handle teaching of undergraduate and or postgraduate courses along with tutorials, practicals, and other academic duties assigned by department. Appointment is purely contractual and does not lead to regular employment.

Selection Process :
Selection process will involve a thorough review of all received applications based on educational background and merit. Candidates meeting the specified eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for a personal interview. Shortlisted individuals will receive communication regarding the interview schedule and venue details in due course. Performance during the interaction session and evaluation of qualifications will be the primary factors for choosing the final candidates. Results will be finalized after the successful verification of original records.
Fee Structure :
Application fee is Rs. 500 for Assistant Professor (Contractual or Contractual-SFS) and Rs. 300 for Guest Faculty. Fee is to be paid online to JMI Recruitment and Promotions account as per given bank details, and payment receipt must be enclosed with application.
How to Apply :
Submission of the application in the prescribed format along with all mandatory certificates and the fee receipt is required by 12-02-2026. The package must be delivered in person or by post to the specified department. Following are the steps for the process:
