Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR Lucknow) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 4 permanent posts of Junior Stenographer. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 31-05-2025 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process for the post of Junior Stenographer includes a competitive written examination followed by a proficiency test in stenography. The written exam will be conducted either in OMR format or as a Computer-Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination. Questions will be provided in both English and Hindi, except for the English Language section.
The written test will include a total of 200 questions carrying 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours. The paper will be divided into the these three parts:

After qualifying the written test, candidates will have to appear for the Proficiency Test in Stenography. In this test, candidates will be given a dictation for 10 minutes either in English or Hindi (as chosen by the candidate in the application form) at the speed of 80 words per minute. Fee Structure :
SC / ST / PwBD / Women / CSIR Employees / Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee. Application fees of Rs 500/- is to be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking.
How to Apply :
Online applications may be submitted through the provided facility on or before 31-05-2025. Read the instructions thoroughly before completing the application. The applicant must complete the online application with accurate personal and academic data in the parts that correspond to their credentials. A scanned copy of the applicant photo and signature must be uploaded to the online application. The online application should be printed out and saved for future use.

For the recruitment of Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, Finance & Accounts, Store & Purchase), a competitive written examination will be conducted. The examination will consist of two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II.
