| Project Description | This project focuses on building "smart" cells in a lab that can find and destroy cancer cells that try to come back after a patient has been treated for leukemia. By using synthetic biology to give these cells a new set of instructions, the medical research into blood health aims to create a shield that prevents the cancer from returning. This project is funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) to ensure that patients with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia have access to the most advanced and precise care. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national health by making sure these therapeutic cells are safe and effective, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and healthy future. |
