| Project Description | This research project focuses on investigating the low-velocity impact response and failure mechanisms of carbon and glass fiber reinforced polymer composites enhanced with nano-fillers, specifically for aerospace applications. The work involves experimental characterization, fracture mechanics analysis, and finite element modeling to understand and improve the damage tolerance and performance of advanced composite materials under impact loading. The project is funded by the Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO, Government of India. |

- Initial appointment: 2 years, extendable based on performance and project duration.
