| Project Description | This project focuses on predicting crack initiation and propagation in advanced composite materials using computational solid mechanics. By integrating phase-field modeling with machine learning, the research aims to analyze structural integrity under complex multiphysics conditions (thermal, mechanical, etc.). The work involves developing robust numerical frameworks and finite element method (FEM) simulations to enhance the reliability of aerospace components. This project is funded by the Aeronautical Research & Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO. |
