| Project Description | This project focuses on creating a specialized computer program that helps scientists grow high-quality diamonds in a laboratory. By building a "multiphysics" package, the research into industrial health and manufacturing aims to simulate exactly how microwaves and plasma work together to create the perfect conditions for diamond crystals to grow large and pure. This project is funded by the India Centre for Lab Grown Diamond (InCent-LGD), IIT Madras to ensure that our nation has its own powerful tools for high-tech diamond synthesis. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national manufacturing standards by enhancing in-house software, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and technologically advanced future. |
