- Desirable: Organic Chemistry, especially organic synthesis including asymmetric synthesis; knowledge of spectroscopic methods of analysis for organic compounds.

- Desirable: knowledge and hands-on experience in remote sensing and GIS, hydrology, water resources, data science, climate change; programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or R; knowledge of technical writing; experience in hydrology/droughts/Geo-AI/DL-ML applications.
