| Project Name | Sustainable electrochemical pathways for Yttrium (Y) powder production from e-waste recycling |
| Project Description | This project focuses on pulling a rare and valuable metal called Yttrium out of old electronics and trash. By using a special electrical process in a liquid bath, the research into industrial health aims to stop rare metals from being wasted in landfills. This project is funded by the Ministry of Mines to ensure that the nation has its own supply of the materials needed for high-tech screens and lasers. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national resources by turning electronic waste into a useful powder, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and healthy future. |
