Project DescriptionThis research focuses on building new chemical building blocks called carbene and carbyne precursors. It explores how these reactive molecules can be used to create complex structures in organic chemistry. The work aims to develop high-efficiency methods for modern chemical manufacturing. This research is funded by ANRF, New Delhi.

  • M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks in aggregate from recognized institute/university as full-time program; qualified in UGC NET including lectureship OR national level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments.
  • Desirable: Organic Chemistry, especially organic synthesis including asymmetric synthesis; knowledge of spectroscopic methods of analysis for organic compounds.
Monthly SalaryRs. 37,000/- per month + 20% HRA
Age Limitmaximum 28 years (relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women/physically handicapped)
Selection ProcessSelection will be made through interviews, which will be conducted after the initial shortlisting of candidates based on academic qualifications.

Project DescriptionThis study explores how low winter snow levels lead to severe water shortages during the summer months. It focuses on the Indus, Jhelum, and Chenab basins to track the link between mountain snowpack and soil moisture. The goal is to predict water scarcity in North India to help manage resources better. This research is funded by the ANRF ARG 2025 scheme.

  • B.Tech./B.E. in relevant disciplines with minimum 65% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA and GATE qualified OR
  • M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc. in relevant disciplines with minimum 65% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA and GATE/NET qualified.
  • Desirable: knowledge and hands-on experience in remote sensing and GIS, hydrology, water resources, data science, climate change; programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or R; knowledge of technical writing; experience in hydrology/droughts/Geo-AI/DL-ML applications.
Monthly SalaryRs 37,000/- + HRA per month
Age Limitmaximum 30 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH as per GoI norms)
Selection ProcessShortlisting will be carried out on the basis of merit and the specific requirements of the project.
