It aims to achieve the design and fabrication of strain sensor arrays on conformal substrates intended for space applications. The research explores integrated embedded systems with wireless capabilities to monitor mechanical stress in extreme environments. This study is sponsored by the ISRO through the Regional Academic Centre for Space (RAC-S).

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks AND valid GATE score in EC OR M.E./M.Tech (or equivalent) in Electronics & Communication Engg./Embedded Systems/Applied Electronics/VLSI/Microelectronics with minimum 60% marks AND valid GATE score in EC.
  • Desirable: basic hands-on exposure to sensor fabrication and characterization; knowledge and skills in Embedded Systems, PCB design, Electronics Instrumentation Design.
Monthly SalaryRs 37,000 + HRA per month
