The research aims to transform the wireless environment into a smart, programmable space where communication signals simultaneously perform high-resolution environmental sensing (like object detection and tracking). The work involves deep integration of communication systems, signal processing in MATLAB, and high-speed FPGA implementation for real-time data throughput. It is funded by the Telecom Technology Development Fund (TTDF), Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
