Project DescriptionThis project focuses on the advancement of medical imaging and cancer diagnostics. It aims to achieve the development of intelligent MRI-contrast agents that can specifically detect reactive oxygen species within tumor environments. This research is funded by ANRF.
DurationInitial appointment for 1 year (extendable based on performance review up to 3 years until project completion)

Qualification
  • MSc (Chemistry) from recognized institute/university with minimum 60% aggregate (6.5 CGPA on scale of 10) - 55% (6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST.
  • M.Sc final semester students also eligible.
  • Desirable: CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE or relevant work experience.
Monthly Salary
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : Rs. 37,000 per month + 20% HRA for first two years; Rs. 42,000 per month + 20% HRA for third year (for NET/GATE/National level exam qualified)
  • Project Associate-I : Rs. 31,000 per month + 20% HRA (for NET/GATE/National level exam qualified)
Age Limitmaximum 28 years
Selection ProcessShortlisting will be based on the applications received, taking into account candidates’ qualifications, experience, and the requirements of the project. Only those shortlisted will be informed of the interview details through the website, email, and/or phone.
Interviews will be conducted in a hybrid format (online and offline). If the number of shortlisted candidates is large, the Selection Committee may further restrict the list for interviews, based on qualifications and experience beyond the minimum eligibility criteria.
