| Project Description | This project focuses on creating a new, eco-friendly material that can act like a sponge to soak up harmful carbon dioxide from the air. By mixing special "metal-organic frameworks" with natural nanocellulose from plants, the medical research into environmental health aims to build a powerful tool for cleaning the atmosphere. This project is funded by the Ministry of Education (MoE) to ensure that the nation has the best technology for fighting climate change and protecting our natural resources. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national air quality by designing materials that are both sustainable and highly efficient, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and healthy future. |

By using very detailed computer models that can "see" individual rain clouds, the medical research into environmental health aims to predict future floods and droughts with much better accuracy. This project is funded by the Ministry of Education - Scheme for Transformational and Advanced Research in Sciences (MoE - STARS) to ensure that our national water resources are protected for the next generation. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national climate planning by understanding these hydrological shifts, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and water-secure future. |

- M.Tech./ME/MS/BS-MS in Climate Science, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Physics, Water Resources, Environmental Science/Engineering, or equivalent with minimum CGPA 6.5 and valid GATE/NET score OR
- B.Tech./BE with CGPA 6.5 and valid GATE/NET score
- Exemption: Candidates with BS-MS/B.Tech/M.Tech and CGPA minimum 8.0 from IITs/IISc/IISERs need not submit GATE/NET score
