| Project Description | The National Family Health Survey (NFHS-6) is one of the world's largest multi-round social and health investigations, providing high-quality data on population, health, and nutrition across India. This sixth iteration serves as a vital diagnostic tool for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) to monitor the progress of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The work is highly technical, involving the validation of massive datasets collected from lakhs of households, followed by complex tabulation and demographic analysis. The outputs—including national/state factsheets and thematic reports—directly influence India’s public health policies, maternal and child health interventions, and family planning strategies. |
