IGNTU Recruitment 2026 Chair Professor, Doctoral Fellow 2 Posts Application Form
Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) is inviting applications for two contractual positions: Chair Professor and Doctoral Fellow, under the Dr. Ambedkar Chair.
This prestigious Chair serves as a center for advanced research and learning regarding the thoughts and philosophy of Dr. Ambedkar, specifically focusing on the socio-economic and cultural challenges faced by marginalized communities.
The Chair Professor will be responsible for leading academic initiatives, while the Doctoral Fellow will conduct full-time research under their guidance. This is a significant opportunity for scholars dedicated to specialized research in tribal and social development.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process at IGNTU will involve two primary stages. First, a screening committee will conduct a detailed scrutiny of all applications received based on academic qualifications and relevant research experience. Following this, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview. The final selection list will be prepared by combining the candidate’s academic record, research contributions, and performance in the interview. Candidates must bring all original documents for verification at the time of the selection process.
Fee Structure :
Application Fees for the Chair Professor post is Rs. 1,000 for UR, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PWD, and women candidates are exempted from payment. There is no application fee for the Doctoral Fellow post for any category. The fee should be paid through online transfer to the specified university bank account as mentioned in the notification.
