| Project Description | This project focuses on identifying and listing all the different types of Aroid plants found across Northeast India and the Eastern Himalaya. By creating a detailed map of where these plants grow in the wild, the medical research into plant health aims to understand how to protect them for many years to come. This project is funded by the NMHS to ensure that the unique natural beauty of the region is preserved while supporting the local economy. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our natural resources by showing how these plants can help people earn a living, making the connection between botanical science and the community much stronger. |
