Delhi University Recruitment 2026 Associate Professor, Professor 56 Posts Online Form

University of Delhi has invited online applications for 56 permanent faculty positions of Associate Professor (Level 13A) and Professor (Level 14) in University Departments. Recruitment will be conducted strictly as per UGC Regulations and University of Delhi Screening Guidelines. Minimum Research Score is mandatory for shortlisting.

Selection Process :

Selection will be conducted through a structured screening and interview process as per Screening Guidelines. Applications will first be scrutinized to calculate the Academic/Research Score, and candidates must secure a minimum Research Score of 75 (Associate Professor) or 120 (Professor) for eligibility. Publications will be considered only if published in UGC CARE/SCOPUS indexed journals, and minimum prescribed research publications and experience are mandatory.

Based on screening score, candidates will be shortlisted in descending order of merit, with a minimum of 30 candidates for the first vacancy and 10 candidates for each additional vacancy being called. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Presentation before the designated committee, followed by Interview.

Final selection will be based strictly on academic credentials, research score, presentation performance and interview merit as per University and UGC norms.

Application Fee:

Fee must be paid online only. Fee structure is :

  • Rs 2000 – UR
  • Rs 1500 – OBC/EWS/Women
  • Rs 1000 – SC/ST
  • Rs 500 – PwBD

How to Apply:

  1. Visit the official University of Delhi website and open the online recruitment portal for Advt. No. R&P/313/2025.
  2. New applicants must first complete registration by entering a valid email ID and mobile number. Login credentials and communication regarding Presentation/Interview will be sent only to the registered email ID.
  3. After successful registration, login using your credentials and fill the online application form carefully with complete personal, academic and research details strictly as per certificates.
  4. Enter teaching/research experience details correctly. Time spent in acquiring M.Phil./Ph.D. shall not be counted as teaching experience.
  5. Fill research publication details carefully. Only publications in UGC CARE list or SCOPUS indexed journals will be considered. Publications under submission will not be counted for screening score.
  6. Upload all required documents including:
    • Proof of date of birth
    • Educational qualification certificates
    • Experience certificates
    • Research publications proof
    • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) in prescribed Central Government format (if applicable)
    • No Objection Certificate (for candidates serving in Govt./PSU, if available at application stage)
  7. PwBD candidates must upload valid disability certificate (minimum 40% disability as per norms).
  8. Pay the prescribed application fee online through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking. Applications without fee payment will be rejected.
  9. Applicants applying for more than one post/department must submit separate applications and pay fee separately.
  10. Review the entire form carefully before final submission. Once submitted, changes may not be allowed.
  11. Submit the application and download/print the final submitted form for future reference.
  12. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through registered email ID regarding Presentation and Interview schedule.
