| Project Description | This project focuses on teaching farmers in eastern India how to grow fruits and other crops together naturally, without using harmful chemicals. By using "intercropping"—which means planting different types of trees and plants in the same field—the research into agricultural health aims to keep the soil healthy and produce more food. This project is funded by the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) under project code NMNF-CRG-001 to ensure that our nation has a sustainable and chemical-free food supply. The goal is to provide a better treatment for our national farming standards by putting women in charge of these new systems, helping the whole community enjoy a more stable and healthy future. |
