| Project Description | This project focuses on the advancement of medicinal chemistry and drug design. It aims to achieve the identification of potent thiosemicarbazones and benzothiazoles that can specifically target the nucleus of cancer cells. This research is funded by ANRF-IRG. |

| Qualification | - M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry from recognized university/institute with minimum 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for General category (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL);
- must have GATE or CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship.
- Desirable: Experience in synthesis and computational chemistry.

| Monthly Salary | - Rs. 37,000 + 10% HRA per month for first two years (JRF);
- Rs. 42,000 + 10% HRA per month for third year (SRF) (may vary for non-NET/GATE candidates)
