Mode of Recruitment :
The competitive written examination for the post of Junior Stenographer will be conducted in an objective multiple-choice format. Candidates can opt to appear either in OMR-based mode or computer-based mode.

Proficiency Test in Stenography
After qualifying the written exam, candidates will have to appear for a proficiency test in stenography. A dictation will be given for 10 minutes in either English or Hindi, based on the candidate’s choice mentioned in the application form. The dictation speed will be 80 words per minute. The time allowed for transcription is given :

Fee Structure :
SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee. Application fees of Rs 500/- is to be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking.
How to Apply :
Candidates possessing the proposed eligibility criteria may apply online by the due date, filling in all concerned details properly after making sure that they meet the eligibility criteria. No need to send printouts at this stage. Keeping a print copy is advisable, though.
