CECRI Recruitment 2025 Walkin for Project Associate and Senior Project Associate 17 Posts
Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) invites eligible candidates to appear in an interview for 17 posts of Project Associate and Senior Project Associate on fixed term basis. Candidates must make sure that meet the required eligibiity criteria before appearing in the Interviews.

Mode of Recruitment :
The written exam will consist of two papers (Paper-I & Paper-II). Paper-II will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks in the first paper (Paper-I). The proficiency in computer typing speed and in using computer will only be qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance in the competitive written examination in Paper-II, who have qualified the proficiency in computer typing.

Detailed Explanation of the Examination Structure:
Paper-1: Mental Ability Test This paper is designed to assess the candidate's logical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying two marks. Importantly, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers in this paper, allowing candidates to attempt all questions without penalty.
Paper-2: General Awareness and English Language This paper is divided into two sections. The General Awareness section tests the candidate's knowledge of current events, history, geography, and general knowledge. The English Language section assesses the candidate's proficiency in English grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary. Both sections contain 50 questions each, with each question carrying three marks. In this paper, there is a negative marking of one mark for every incorrect answer. Therefore, candidates are advised to answer only those questions they are confident about.
The Selection Committee will set a minimum qualifying threshold for Paper-1. Only those candidates meeting this threshold will be considered eligible for the evaluation of Paper-2. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of both papers, giving due weightage to the performance in each.
Fee Structure :
The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from submission of application fee. Application fees of Rs 500/- is to be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.
How to Apply :
Candidates who are qualified should fill out the application only online by or before 18-03-2025. Personal and education details should fill in online application at appropriate place. The printout of a duly filled-out online application should be retained for future use.
