| Project Description | This GSRF-funded project at ICAR-CCARI focuses on protecting the aquatic biodiversity of Goa's wetland ecosystems. The research involves developing an integrated citizen science and simulation-based framework to control the spread of non-native aquatic life. Rephrasing is done to utilize community-reported data alongside computer models to predict the movement of invasive fish species. The study aims to provide a decision-making tool for environmental managers to mitigate ecological damage and restore the natural balance of these vital water bodies. |
