Project DescriptionThis socio-economic research project evaluates the effectiveness of various state and central government welfare schemes (such as IGNOAPS, Ayushman Bharat, and NPHCE) on the quality of life of the elderly. Spanning across Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, the study utilizes an Extension Perspective to identify gaps in awareness, accessibility, and last-mile delivery. The goal is to provide policy recommendations that enhance social security and health interventions for the aging population. This project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
