| Project Description | This project focuses on enhancing India's capabilities in monitoring orbital debris and satellite safety. It aims to achieve the refurbishment and utilization of the Baker-Nunn Schmidt Telescope (BNST) at Manora Peak for Space Situational Awareness (SSA). The research identifies methods for high-precision tracking of resident space objects to prevent collisions in Earth's orbit. This research is funded by ISTRAC-ISRO and is being conducted at ARIES. |
