Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee (AP DSC) has issued Notification for Recruitment on Various Posts under
- School Education - Teacher Recruitment Test(TRT) for the posts of School Assistants(SA’s), Language Pandits(LPs), Physical Education Teachers(PETs), Music Teachers, Craft teachers and Art & Drawing Teachers and TETcumTRT for the posts of Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs)
- Residential Schools - PRINCIPALS, POST GRADUATE TEACHERS (PGTS), TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHERS (TGTS) AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS (PETS), CRAFT, ART AND MUSIC TEACHERS -2018 IN AP MODEL SCHOOLS, AP RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS AND APBC WELFARE RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS.
Total 7729 regular vacacnies are to be filled under Recruitment Process. Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply online between 01-11-2018 to 16-11-2018, after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria. All personal and educational details must be mentioned properly.

- School Assistant -
- B.Ed in Related Trade. For Hindi - Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Hindi (B.O.L) or Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent.
- Physical Education Teacher (All Media) -
- Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or equivalent certificate and an under graduate diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed.) OR Bachelor’s Degree and a B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed recognized by NCTE.
- Music, Craft Teachers and Art & Drawing Teachers -
- Six years Diploma / Graduate / Degree or Junior Examination conducted by Institute of Karanataka Sangeetha Sikhana OR Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts,.
- Language Pandits -
- B.Ed. in related Trade.

Mode of Recruitment :
- School Education -
- School Assistants (SAs) and Language Pandits (LPs) - Selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test(TRT) and APTET(20%) Weightage except School Assistant (Physical Education)
- School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) -Selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (TRT), Physical Efficiency Test Marks and APTET (20%) weightage
- Music Teachers - Selection will be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (TRT) and Skill Test Marks
- Craft and Art& Drawing teachers - Selection will be on the basis of marks secured in the Written Test (TRT)
- Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) - Selection will be on the basis of marks secured in the Written Test (TETcumTRT)
- Residential Schools -
- Principals - Total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT).
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) - Total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test(TRT)
- Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) - Total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT) and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage
- Physical Education Teachers (PETs) - total marks shall be 100, out of which 50 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT), 30 marks shall be for the Physical Efficiency Test and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage.
- Craft and Art teachers - Total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT).
- Music Teachers - Total marks shall be 100, out of which 70 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT) and remaining 30 Marks shall be for the Skill Test.
Fee Structure :
Fee of INR 500 is to be paid through Payment Gateway. On receipt of fee , candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal Number’ with which he/ she can proceed with submission of application online.
How to Apply :
Interested candidates with qualifications may apply online for concerned posts as per given online application form, between 01-11-2018 to 16-11-2018. No need to send print to Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee at this stage. Eligible candidates will be intimated about further proceedings. Keeping a print copy for future use is advised.
